Did you know that in 2015 Taco Bell became the first Quick Service Restaurant to partner with the American Vegetarian Association (AVA) for a certified vegetarian menu? Taco Bell AVA-certified items are lacto-ovo, allowing the consumption of dairy and eggs but not animal by-products. There are over 30 vegetarian ingredients on our menu, the majority of which are also certified vegan (see How to Eat Vegan at Taco Bell). These can be combined for nearly 1 million combinations!

Of course, we have vegetarian icons available when ordering in the drive-thru, like the Bean Burrito and Black Bean Crunchwrap. But we have even more exclusive offerings for our digital fans! Digital customers get exclusive access to our Veggie Cravings Menu with over a dozen AVA-certified vegetarian options right at your fingertips, from the Veggie Bowl to the Black Bean Chalupa Supreme. The Veggie Cravings Menu makes it easy for fans to order vegetarian versions of classic Taco Bell items.
